Doesn't this photo make you want to be in Richland

So I made it to Richland tonight and am staying with my friend Mel Brown. She recently moved back her with her family and has frequently mentioned the amount of culture (lacking) here. We did go to a nice wine tasting restaurant which coincidentally had a band from Portland playing tonight. Mel then took my picture from what she deemed was one of the best views of Richland and sent to me. I post it for your viewing pleasure.

As for the ride today, I wish that I would've stopped and taken some more pictures. The colors on the walls of the gorge were amazing and I was able to watch a beautiful transitions to nightfall with a crisp and bright sliver of moon hanging in the dark night with the purples, pinks and oranges towards the horizon. Can not complain about that.

As far as bike performance went, gas mileage was excellent in the 60-70 miles/hr range while it dropped off in the 70s. There's a rattle in my givi crashguard from the small connecting piece. It's annoying, but that's it. I had tried to inject some silicone into the gap before the trip, but it wasn't as successful as I had hoped. And as far as successes go, with my "great success" from a few posts back may have not have been so great. I think I was hoses on the hose that I purchased, but it shouldn't effect me too much.

And I look forward to some sleep and a long day tomorrow. Good night my friends.
